We help promote student success

Grants provide Moreno Valley College with more opportunities to develop, implement, and evaluate alternative instructional and support services aimed at promoting student success. MVC's Grants office pursues external grants and resources at the local, state, and federal levels including eligible and applicable public and private funding opportunities.

About MVC

Moreno Valley College is a designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) with nearly 60% Hispanic student enrollment providing the opportunity to serve students and the institution through targeted HSI grants and resources. MVC currently has two HSI grants: Title V Individual Grant (Public Safety) and a Title III/STEM grant. Additionally, MVC is a Minority Serving Institution (MSI) with approximately 78% minority student enrollment.

About Grant Development

Grounded in the analysis of student outcomes, the Grants office uses research, assessment, evaluation, training, and pedagogical revisions, as well as collaboration with faculty, staff, and MVC leadership, to institutionalize strategies that foster positive changes and outcomes.

MVC also participates in the District Grants Advisory Council and works in coordination with the District Grants Office in developing grant proposals and additional grant resources and services.
