College Development and Engagement Committee
The College Development and Engagement Committee (CDEC, see-deck) oversees student access, learning, services, success, and equity goals. CDEC is a chartered subcommittee of the College Council.

Nominate for the 2025 Diversity Awards
Purpose
The College Development and Engagement Committee's purpose is to:
- Build capacity to guide, teach, and train campus constituents around how to engage in actions that explicitly address issues of equity, race, culture, identity, and other forms of social difference.
- Increase training, professional learning, and dialogue amongst all constituents that includes both in-classroom and out-of-classroom experiences to holistically understand the student experience.
- Oversee relevant accreditation areas, college plans, such as the Student Equity and Achievement Plan, and college-wide activities, such as Diversity Summits, scholarship breakfasts, and commencement activities.

Request Professional Development Funding
Limited funding is available by request to classified professionals, faculty, and administrators seeking to offer professional development that aligns with college and district goals. The next round of professional development requests will be open from Wednesday, January 29 through Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 5 pm.
