It's time to apply for your annual scholarships

The ability to pay for tuition, books and even rent often has a direct impact on student success.

Each year, the Riverside Community College District (RCCD) Foundation offers scholarships for continuing and transferring students. We encourage all students to regularly apply for scholarships to ease the financial burden of attending college. The RCCD Foundation's all-in-one form makes this easy: each year from October to January, you simply need to complete one online application that will match your information against a database of over 250 possible scholarship awards.

Keep in mind that you will need to solicit at least two letters of recommendation by providing the contact information of two professors, so leave enough time for them to complete those tasks in the scholarship portal.

The application period for 2026-27 scholarships is October 13, 2025 – January 16, 2026.

Student Financial Services hosts informative scholarship workshops where you can learn how to apply for RCCD Foundation scholarships, receive tips on writing your essays, and the process for requesting a recommendation. Attend as many as you need to feel comfortable starting your application process.

Year-round Scholarships Available

The RCCD Foundation also collects a list of external scholarships in a separate portal accessible year-round. These are not managed or distributed by the Foundation, may have separate application requirements managed outside the portal, and differing deadlines than the annual Foundation scholarship period.
