Mission

Services
The Department Today
The RCCD College Safety and Police Department employs 22 sworn police personnel assigned to three college campuses within the District. The Department organization consists of a Chief of Police, Sergeants, Senior Officers, and Police Officers.
Parking Services performs regular, non-emergency duties including: parking enforcement; traffic control; supervision of RCCD functions and special events; public escorts; assisting public with parking violations; securing RCCD parking lots and buildings; jumpstarts and lockouts for vehicles; and special assignments. Parking Services consists of a Parking Services Supervisor, Parking Services Administrative Clerk, 2 Community Service Coordinators and 18 Community Service Aides.
Our civilian services staff consists of an administrative supervisor, administrative assistant, and a police records clerk.
We have Memorandums of Understanding with the Riverside Police Department and Riverside County Sheriff's Department, which provide the department with assistance for incidents requiring specialized resources and expertise. These MOU's also provide the guidelines for College Safety and Police to assist municipal law enforcement in providing police services to our surrounding communities.
