Monty's Market
Free food and resources for students, no questions asked
Monty's Market seeks to alleviate student challenges by gathering donations in response to the needs of our students. We are committed to fulfill the needs of MVC Mountain Lions through food distribution and support services such as clothing, access to healthy meals, and more. Distributions are free to enrolled students in need.
How We Help
Monty's Market assists currently enrolled MVC students who may be experiencing hardship or food insecurity. Students may receive a bag of food, household and hygiene products during each shopping trip. Walk-in shopping during market hours does not require registration (in PantrySoft), while pick-up and delivery distribution does.
Students must have MVC set as their home college and be enrolled in at least one class.

Access PantrySoft

Monty's Market uses PantrySoft to manage pick-up reservations, provide special offers and discounts, and for delivery requests. PantrySoft is connected to your student account. Having a PantrySoft account doesn't guarantee benefits or participation, and things like grocery distributions must be registered for each time. Here's how to sign up and get started:
- Know your student email and password.
- Log into the RCCD Single Sign-On Portal. This takes you to a page with a variety of connected apps.
- Choose the "Apps" tab near the top and find the PantrySoft icon in the list of options. Click on it.
- Create an account and/or log in using your student email.

Donations Welcome
We invite and encourage you to please take part and donate to support MVC students. Donations are accepted at anytime during open hours. Shelf-stable, nutrient-dense food, frozen meats and dairy products are preferred for Monty's Food Market.
