Moreno Valley College has been recognized by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge organization for its efforts to increase student voter engagement. Moreno Valley College was one of 24 institutions in California to be honored as a Most Engaged Campus.

The Department of Education has awarded Moreno Valley College's Veterans Resource Center $1,437,685 for five years for the Veterans Upward Bound program. The Veterans Upward Bound program assists Veterans with transitioning from the military into a postsecondary institution.

The RCCD Foundation received a $20,000 grant from Edison International to support STEM education at Moreno Valley College (MVC). The grant will provide funding for a series of virtual workshops aimed at growing the pipeline of K-12 students interested in pursuing STEM education and careers.

The National Science Foundation awarded Moreno Valley College $1.5 million to enhance student completion outcomes in the computer science field. The grant will provide scholarships for first-time students who are 18 years or older.

Moreno Valley College's office of TRIO Programs was awarded a Community Impact Grant from Inland SoCal United Way. The $5,000 grant will provide support for TRIO's Make Your Vision Count – College and Career Connections Project.
