Thanks to the popular Go-Pass and U-Pass programs, students at Norco College, Moreno Valley College, and Riverside City College get endless rides anywhere the Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) goes, anytime they operate.

The USDA awarded a grant to the University of California, Riverside’s Entomology Department for “agriculturally relevant research.” The research involves students from UCR; and Moreno Valley, Norco and Riverside City colleges.

Moreno Valley College has been recognized by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge organization for its efforts to increase student voter engagement. Moreno Valley College was one of 24 institutions in California to be honored as a Most Engaged Campus.

The MLK Scholarship Competition offers students a chance to prepare and deliver a response addressing a prompt for a scholarship reward. This year, we focus on an April 14, 1967 speech given by Dr. King at Stanford University, entitled "The Other America."

Moreno Valley College, along with the city of Moreno Valley, and Riverside and San Bernardino Counties Building and Construction Trades Council AFL-CIO, will be the lead organizers for the Inland Empire Apprenticeship Expo at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center on November 15.

The Department of Education has awarded Moreno Valley College's Veterans Resource Center $1,437,685 for five years for the Veterans Upward Bound program. The Veterans Upward Bound program assists Veterans with transitioning from the military into a postsecondary institution.
