Study stress free for finals!

The Library, Academic Success Center (ASC), Wellness Center and the Associated Students of MVC (ASMVC) have teamed up to offer the spring 2023 Exam Jam. This term's theme is Finals with the Force: May the Scores be with You!

From May 30 to June 3, enjoy daily stress-reducing activities, free snacks and drinks, as well as testing and study supplies available at no cost. We're here to help you succeed, so don't be afraid to stop by the ASC in Humanities, Room 219 or the Library Building, second floor. 

Academic Success Center Library

Available daily at no cost to you in the ASC and Library:

  • Scantrons and Blue Books
  • Pencils, pens, index cards
  • Snacks, drinks and more

Enrolled students are entitled to:

  • Research and reference help
  • Free SI sessions and study groups
  • Free group (drop-in) and one-on-one tutoring (by appointment)
  • Writing assignment and essay help

Each day of actvities that you attend means you're entered into a gift card raffle with winners drawn the last day. Winners will be notified by email.

Tuesday, May 30

In the Library, enjoy:

  • Wellness activities in LIB 205 from 10 am - Noon
  • Droid Scavenger Hunt: Find 3 droids in the Library and get a candy bar and a chance to win a gift card
  • Play oversized Connect Four and Jenga games

In the ASC, enjoy:

  • Create a DIY stress ball
  • Color Your Cares Away drawing activity

Wednesday, May 31

In the Library, enjoy:

  • Temporary Tattoo Station for fun temporary Yoda and Grogu tattoos
  • Tabletop board games with the Table Top Things Club

In the ASC, enjoy:

  • Uno
  • Outdoor games on the Humanities Building patio

Thursday, June 1

In the Library, enjoy:

  • Craft and fold a Star Wars paper cube character
  • Build your own droid

In the ASC, enjoy:

  • Outdoor games on the Humanities Building patio
  • Build your own droid
  • Yoda Tattoo Station for fun temporary tattoos

Friday, June 2

In the Library, enjoy:

  • Video games with the tabletop Things Club (11 am - 4 pm)
  • Create Star Wars-themed diamond stickers

In the ASC, enjoy:

  • Paint a space rock

Saturday, June 3

In the ASC and the Library, enjoy:

  • Fold up and test fly your own starfighter spaceship
  • Final flight into Finals activities
  • Raffle winners selected
