Jake Kevari Appointed Vice President of Planning and Development at Moreno Valley College

Moreno Valley College has appointed Jake Kevari as vice president of planning and development, following approval by the Riverside Community College District Board of Trustees at its June 17 meeting.
Kevari brings more than 14 years of experience in the California Community Colleges system, having served as a classified professional, faculty member, and administrator. Most recently, he served as the college’s dean of institutional effectiveness, where he led major initiatives in strategic planning, accreditation, assessment, and data-informed decision-making.
A first-generation college graduate and Inland Empire native, Kevari holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and a master’s in economics from the University of California, Riverside. He currently serves as board president for the RP Group of California Community Colleges, a statewide organization dedicated to strengthening institutional research and planning efforts.
In his new role, Kevari will guide the college’s planning, research, and marketing efforts—advancing Moreno Valley College’s commitment to student success, innovation, and equity.
