About

Jasmine A. Moore-Strickland, Ph.D., specializes in Black speculative fiction and cultures from the Afrodiaspora. She received her doctorate in English from the University of California, Riverside. Jasmine’s scholarly work and pedagogy focus on the intersections of race, gender, class consciousness, and applied utopian strategy as it relates Black speculative fiction.

Jasmine loves spending time with family, especially playing games with her children, husband, and two cats. Her hobbies include adult coloring books, life simulation/farming games, and watching horror films.
