About

D’Angelo Bridges grew up in Moreno Valley where he graduated from Moreno Valley High School. He attended California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) where he majored in English. After completing his B.A., he continued at CSUSB earning his teaching credential and then master’s degree there. Bridges taught high school English and AVID at his alma mater, Moreno Valley High, for a few years before he left to pursue his Ph.D. in English and African American and Diaspora studies at Penn State University. He has taught college-level English at Moreno Valley College, Penn State, and Western Washington University. In his off time, Bridges enjoys reading and traveling the world.
