About

I have been teaching Communication Studies courses since 2006. Before joining MVC full-time in 2013, I taught part-time at Crafton Hills College, Mt. San Jacinto College, Riverside City College, and Norco College. I obtained both my BA and MA in Communication Studies from California State University of San Bernardino after transferring from Moreno Valley College. My area of emphasis in graduate school was in Rhetorical Theory.

I am fortunate to have my dream career teaching students at the community college where my academic journey began. I have taught all the COM courses offered at MVC, but teach public speaking, interpersonal communication, argumentation and debate, persuasion, and gender communication most regularly. I have also taught Honors Program courses in public speaking and interpersonal communication. I currently serve as an assistant chair for the Communications, English, and World Languages Department.
