Six Legs Offers Endless Possibilities

College Pitch Contest Draws 10 Contestants
July 1, 2022Moreno Valley College’s second annual Pitch Contest attracted 10 contestants. The event coincided with the Business Department’s launch of the Entrepreneurship certificates.
Graduate Participates in Congressional Foster Youth Shadow Day
June 29, 2022Xandra Vaughn, a foster-youth student and a recent graduate of Moreno Valley College, was selected to participate in the state’s Foster Youth Shadow Day. Vaughn, and 39 other nationally selected foster youth, spent a day shadowing Representative Karen Bass (CA-37) and other representatives.
Middle College Student Selected as Commencement Speaker
May 23, 2022Middle College student, Gianine Ariane Nocum Umali, has been selected as Moreno Valley College's 2022 commencement speaker. It is believed she becomes the first Middle College student to be selected as the College's commencement speaker.
Middle College Student Earns Four-Year Scholarship to California Institute of Technology
May 19, 2022Jude McLean, who will be graduating from the Moreno Valley College Middle College program in June, has been awarded a four-year scholarship to California Institute of Technology (Caltech) through the QuestBridge Scholars Network.
Riverside County Workforce Development Funding Fire, EMT Cadets
May 18, 2022Riverside County Workforce Development has created a program to fund Public Safety students. Currently, Moreno Valley College is educating 37 fire cadets and 15 EMT cadets that are fully funded by Riverside County Workforce Development at a cost of $125,000.
