TRiO programs have a rich history dating back to 1964, and continue to open the door of opportunity and access to higher education for eligible students across the country regardless of race, ethnicity, or culture. The Moreno Valley College Upward Bound Math & Science Program is a federally funded grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Vista Del Lago 9th and 10th grade students may apply. There is no cost to students to participate!
The Upward Bound Math and Science program is designed to strengthen the math and science skills of participating students. The goal of the program is to help students recognize and develop their potential to excel in math and science and to encourage them to pursue postsecondary degrees in math and science, and ultimately careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
