Technology Support Services

Welcome to the Technology Support Services (TSS) department. This new department was formed in July 2014 through an internal reorganization process at MVC to better serve the College in the area of technology for both academic and administrative users.

Currently, the TSS department houses the following groups:

Audio/Visual (A/V):
Training, service, and support with all A/V equipment and services (e.g. LCD projectors, video conferencing, document cameras, etc.)

Information Technology (IT):
Service and support with all desktop devices (e.g. computers, laptops, printers, etc.)

Web Development:
Service and support for
all requests related to
websites at MVC.

New Email System Resources (Office 365)

RCCD Helpdesk

Answers service calls, routes service tickets to appropriate support teams, monitors quality of service.

Any staff or faculty member can contact the district Helpdesk at helpdesk@rccd.edu (preferred) or (951) 222-8388.

 

Free and Discounted Software

The California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office offers FREE resources to all faculty, staff, and students. Additionally, numerous vendors and services have reduced education pricing.
