Moreno Valley College had two Applied Digital Media students place in the 2024 American Advertising student competition, which is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition with more than 40,000 entries every year in local ad club competitions.

October 16 marks the start of the RCCD scholarship application period. The Riverside Community College District (RCCD) Foundation offers over 250 scholarships for continuing and transferring students. Apply for 2024-25 scholarships through January 12, 2024.

The 7th Annual California Community Colleges' Undocumented Student Action Week is October 16 - 20. MVC students are invited to attend workshops and presentations, and join ASMVC on October 19 for a fair including food, music and helpful resources.
