Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment is an early college enrollment opportunity allowing current high school students in the Moreno Valley and Val Verde unified school districts to take college classes at their high school campus. As part of Moreno Valley College's Summer Bridge program, Dual Enrollment aims at bolstering high school graduation and college enrollment rates, college grade point averages and progress toward college completion.

Benefits include:

  • Take a college class at your high school - no travel required
  • Courses are taught by credentialed colleged instructors
  • Tuition is waived, including enrollment, student services, and health fees
  • Textbooks are provided for free
  • Students earn college and high school course credit simultaneously

How Dual Enrollment Works

Students may only take one class per semester. Interested students must submit their dual enrollment packet to the Career Center/Transfer Center at their high school or Moreno Valley College Welcome Center on or before posted deadline. Parent/guardian consent is required.
